Undoubtedly Santa Barbara has experienced it's fair share of hardships over the past few months. Beginning in December, the Thomas Fire scorched countless acres, led to unhealthy air quality, evacuations, and the unforgettable Montecito mudslides this January. Our community has transitioned from a season of enduring into day-to-day life with a renewed sense of thankfulness. Thankfulness for clean air, all of the tremendous efforts by our first responders, calm and restoration.
I was so grateful the Moesker family was able to reschedule their shoot from mid December to January to commemorate their daughter's first birthday. What a sweet milestone to celebrate. Their joy and playfulness towards one another was refreshing. I adore capturing a family's interaction with one another, especially when they radiate loving-kindness.
We have so many wonderful parks in Santa Barbara with huge billowing oak trees. It's often hard to pick just one. These three were an absolute joy to work with. Happy first year of life sweet Rosie!
