2019 In Review

2019 was an incredible year for Vanessa Hansen Photography! I was able to design a variety of sessions throughout the year. Creating visuals for local businesses to enhance marketing content and in great part, I captured countless families, baby bumps, couples and new life. I love the uniqueness each session brings and the opportunity to share in other people's lives and stories.

As we conclude one year and a new one begins, I'd like to reflect on some of the many highlights of 2019. You may even see some familiar faces. :) Enjoy!

As always, THANK YOU to each one of you that has booked a session or two, shared my business with friends and family or simply support my artistry. Your contributions are greatly appreciated. Cheers to a beautiful year ahead in 2020!

{A sweet baby girl was brought into the world in 2019 and a fall mini session was the perfect way to celebrate this new family of three.}

{I am still in awe of this senior portrait session, the lighting, her beauty and all that lies ahead for her.}

{I love this one. What a sweet view of the special bond between a father and his son.}

{Last year I was able to photograph this sweet family of three early in the year and again in the fall as they transitioned to a family of four, welcoming another girl to the family.}

{Photographed this little one at birth and then a year later to celebrate his 1st birthday! These authentic moments are what I love most. This sweet little babe was reacting to his momma singing one of his favorite songs.}

{Every fall I offer highly desirable mini sessions. In 2019 I was able to offer dates in Santa Barbara, Carpinteria and Thousand Oaks expanding my clientele. I especially love to photograph clients year after year and have the opportunity to watch them grow.}

{This little one is always such a joy to photograph! She has the absolute sweetest personality.}

{The best sessions are the ones with clients genuinely having the most fun. These three know how to embrace an evening at the beach making memories in the sand.}

{What a cute family portrait- huh?...Unbeknownst, this was the second time Bodie, the beautiful Golden Retriever, burst into our portrait session and naturally posed for the camera. Dog model? He's hired.}

{This year, I had the privilege to photograph a sailboat picnic for Sea Glass Wine Co. It was the culmination of a pristine sunset on the water, local cuisine, exceptional wines and Santa Barbara living at its finest. Keep an eye out for more collaborative work in 2020!}

Have a beautiful weekend!
